Because of corona we cancelled our holiday to Portugal mid June.
But don’t worry.
A new destination was quickly found.
Considering the ongoing threat of the virus, an island in the Baltic Sea seemed a safe choice.
I have to admit in all honesty that before Corona, I did not really know that Germany actually had an island.
The decision to go there was a bull’s-eye.
Beautiful nature reserves, old forests, vast beaches and peacefulness.
Lots of peace and quiet.
Despite the fact that the weather gods did not favour us, it was a wonderful destination.
As the sky was grey and cloudy, it gave the island a mystical atmosphere.
