By all means, trust in Allah, but tie your camel first
Morocco
Started in Agadir, one of the major Berber centres of Morocco, this trip took us to the great Atlas mountains and back.
The name Agadir is a common Berber noun agadir meaning “wall, enclosure, fortified building or citadel”
Apart from endless beaches there’s not much to see in Agadir nor is in Tiznit. On our way back Tifnit beach was a pleasant surprise. Right in the heart of national park Souss-Massa.
Never seen a camel?
Well, there’s your chance, hundreds of them are wandering around grazing.
The mountain views are stunning, but driving on the Atlas roads is even a greater experience.
Big chunks of it look more like a dirt road. As in Belgium they are constantly under construction.
There’s a positive side as well. Because you have to slow down your pace, it enables you to see even more of the beautiful scenery!
