That&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/aitooshome.wixsite.com\/kyrgyzstan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Aitoo&#8217;s Home<\/a>.<br \/>We arrived late afternoon unannounced.  The welcome was warm and immediately we were invited for a cup of tea &amp; cake. Together with his spouse Gulnaz and mother we enjoyed the warmth of their presence and kitchen. The hunters are the Berkutchi. <br \/>Eagle hunting is probably one of biggest Kyrgyz traditions.  Aitoo&#8217;s eagles are well trained. The moment they were taken out of the nest, which is not without danger, training commenced. Their bond is strong. He&#8217;s the only allowed to feed the eagle. This is done specifically to improve the relationship. Female eagles are preferred over male species because they make better hunters.
